Actor Vishwak Sen, recently praised for his performance in the film “Gaami,” expressed his appreciation for the positive reception. During a press meet, he also mentioned that endorsements from established stars in the Telugu film industry (Tollywood) could benefit the film. This statement came after Mahesh Babu and S.S. Rajamouli promoted the Telugu version of “Premalu” on social media, which released on the same day as “Gaami.”
However, some misinterpreted Vishwak Sen’s comments. Trolls began circulating past statements he made during the pre-release event of his 2019 film “Falaknuma Das,” where he expressed self-reliance and his determination to succeed without needing support.
Vishwak Sen has clarified his recent remarks through a social media post. He explained that his hope for recognition from big stars was primarily for the benefit of “Gaami’s” crew, particularly the many newcomers working on the film. He emphasized that “Gaami” will be remembered as a significant film in Telugu cinema’s history.
“Gaami” also features actors Chandini Chowdary, MG Abhinaya, Harika Pedada, and Mohammad Samad. Vidyadhar Kagita directed the film, with Karthik Sabareesh producing it. Sweekar Agasthi and Naresh Kumaran composed the music, Vishwanath Reddy handled the cinematography, and Raghavendra Thirun was the editor.
