Pawan Kalyan Begins Vaarahi Ammavari Deeksha as Deputy CM

Pawan Kalyan is celebrating a historic victory in the 2024 general elections. After assuming his new role as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, he will begin the Vaarahi Ammavari Deeksha on Wednesday, June 26. Photos of Kalyan have gone viral on the internet.

Actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, will start the Vaarahi Ammavari Deeksha tomorrow (June 26). Today, photos of him in traditional attire at his office went viral on social media.

Pawan Kalyan chose a simple mustard yellow cotton kurta paired with a matching dhoti. Pawan Kalyan will perform this Deeksha for 11 days, consuming only milk, fruits, and liquid foods.

This isn’t the first time he has undertaken the Vaarahi Ammavari Deeksha. Last June, he completed the Varahi Vijaya Yatra after worshipping Goddess Varahi, which he believes played a crucial role in his historic success in the 2024 general elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Pawan Kalyan’s Upcoming Films

In addition to his political success, Pawan Kalyan has several exciting film projects lined up. The actor-turned-politician is gearing up for the release of OG, also known as They Call Him OG. This highly anticipated movie, set to release this year, features him in thrilling action sequences.

The plot of OG centers around a vicious criminal named Ojas Gambheera, who returns to Mumbai after a ten-year hiatus to kill a mafia leader named Omi Bhau. The film stars Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Arjun Das alongside Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan Kalyan will also star in the period drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1-Sword vs. Spirit. Set in the 17th century Mughal Empire, this fantasy action movie features Kalyan as an outlaw.

Additionally, he has joined the cast of the Harish Shankar-directed movie Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which also stars Sakshi Vaidya and Sreeleela in key roles. In Ustaad Bhagat Singh, the Thammudu star will portray a police officer.
