Kalki 2898 AD fever is high! Director Nag Ashwin, following the success of Mahanati, has generated a buzz around his upcoming sci-fi film starring Prabhas.
The movie boasts a futuristic element: Bujji, Bhairava’s (Prabhas) advanced car companion. Bujji, a 6-ton, all-electric marvel built entirely in India, has been showcased across the country, with a recent display in Chennai.
Raising the excitement further, Nag Ashwin took to social media, inviting Tesla founder Elon Musk for a test drive in Bujji. He playfully challenged Musk for a photo op with Bujji and Tesla’s Cybertruck, calling it “a sight to see them drive together.”
While Musk’s response is awaited, Bujji has already garnered interest from celebrities like Naga Chaitanya and Narain Karthikeyan (India’s first F1 driver) who have taken it for a spin.
The much-anticipated film also features Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Rajendra Prasad, and Pasupathy. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies with music by Santhosh Narayanan, Kalki 2898 AD is slated for a global release on June 27, 2024.
