Kalki 2898 AD Review: Mythological Epic Meets Sci-Fi Spectacle
Story:
Set in a dystopian future where the world has lost its resources, the story revolves around Kashi, a city ruled by the Supreme Yaskein (Kamal Haasan). Meanwhile, Bhairava (Prabhas), a young man from the lower city, dreams of entering the Complex, a technologically advanced paradise. When it is prophesied that Kalki (God) will be reborn in 6000 years, Supreme Yaskein seeks to protect the baby’s mother, Sumati (Deepika Padukone). Ashwathama (Amitabh Bachchan), an immortal warrior, is tasked with protecting Sumati, while Bhairava tries to stop them.
