Big stars like Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun often use Twitter to praise movies they’ve seen. They might shower big-budget films with compliments, or offer encouraging words to smaller projects, helping to generate buzz. However, they aren’t obligated to promote every single movie.
Recently, actor Vishwak Sen’s film “Gaami” received positive reviews for its unique concept and visuals. He expressed his belief that a mention from a big star could significantly benefit the film. However, neither Mahesh Babu nor NTR Jr., whom Vishwak Sen considers a mentor, tweeted about “Gaami.” Mahesh Babu instead tweeted about “Premalu,” released by director S.S. Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya. It’s no secret that Rajamouli is currently working with Mahesh Babu on another project.
This highlights the reality that big stars and directors rarely promote other movies, regardless of budget, unless there’s a personal connection or financial compensation involved. Vishwak Sen, being an experienced actor, understands this dynamic.
