The makers of “Kalki 2898 AD” have also been releasing glimpses of the film’s music and characters. The “Bhairava anthem” features Prabhas, the film’s lead actor, alongside Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. The energetic song offers a glimpse into Prabhas’ character, Bhairava.
The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, is set in a post-apocalyptic world of 2898 AD and draws inspiration from Hindu scriptures. The trailer hinted at a futuristic reimagining of the Mahabharata with dystopian elements.
Kamal Haasan joins a star-studded cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. “Kalki 2898 AD” is scheduled to hit theaters on June 27th.
