Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are reuniting on screen for a new crime thriller titled “RIP.” This project marks another collaboration between the longtime friends and frequent co-stars.
Details about the plot remain under wraps, but Joe Carnahan, known for films like “Smokin’ Aces” and “The Grey,” will be directing. “RIP” will also be produced by Artists Equity, the production company co-owned by Affleck and Damon.
This isn’t the first time Affleck and Damon have joined forces. They previously appeared together in movies like “Chasing Amy,” “Dogma,” and Ridley Scott’s recent historical drama “The Last Duel.” They even co-wrote the script for “The Last Duel.”
Their production company, Artists Equity, has been keeping busy as well. They recently produced and starred in the Air Jordan movie “Air,” secured distribution for the drama “Small Things Like These,” and have several other projects in development, including “Unstoppable” with Jennifer Lopez and a sequel to Affleck’s film “The Accountant.” Artists Equity is known for offering profit participation to a wider range of cast and crew members, contributing to their rapidly growing slate of films.
