Farah Khan Almost Missed Out on DDLJ Choreography

Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan recently shared a surprising anecdote about how she almost missed out on choreographing iconic love story “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” (DDLJ).

In an interview, Farah revealed she was offered the project while already committed to another film with Nana Patekar. Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra called her personally, requesting her to join them in Switzerland for the DDLJ songs.

Despite the tempting offer from a bigger production house, Farah chose to honor her prior commitment. She explained her decision by saying she couldn’t ditch a project in progress “because I’ve got a bigger film.”

Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time Farah’s work ethic landed her a big opportunity. She previously shared that her Bollywood break came about due to Saroj Khan’s absence from the film “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander.”

Her decision to honor her existing project impressed Aditya Chopra, who later offered her the remaining song “Ruk Ja O Dil Deewane” for DDLJ.
